PHILLIP LASTELLA, ESQ.

Mr. Lastella is a trusted legal partner to insurance carriers across Florida and a founding partner of Lovegrove & Lastella, PLLC. Licensed to practice law in Florida since 2016, Mr. Lastella is known for his aggressive, strategic approach to litigation, with a focus on efficient resolution and strong trial readiness. He works closely with carriers to defend against fraudulent, exaggerated, and unsupported claims — helping clients control exposure, reduce payouts, and improve litigation outcomes.

Mr. Lastella earned his law degree from Florida International University College of Law and started his practice at an Am Law 200 firm. Mr. Lastella began his legal career representing major financial institutions in complex litigation across Florida, handling cases from inception through trial and judgment. He later shifted his focus to high-stakes commercial disputes and ultimately to insurance defense, where he has represented carriers in matters involving workers’ compensation, construction defect, third-party liability, title insurance and property and casualty claims.

Under his leadership, Lovegrove & Lastella, PLLC has defended insurers in thousands of matters across the state of Florida since 2021.
