PHILLIP LASTELLA, ESQ.

Mr. Lastella graduated from Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Lastella clerked for a full- service national law firm ranked among American Lawyer’s Am Law 200 list. After graduating law school, Mr. Lastella returned to the firm as an associate, during which time he represented various multi-national financial institutions in lawsuits throughout the State of Florida, from inception through trial and final judgment.

Thereafter, Mr. Lastella focused on complex commercial litigation, where he assisted businesses and individuals in matters ranging from collections to multimillion-dollar commercial disputes. Mr. Lastella then shifted his focus to insurance defense, during which time he represented insurance carriers in proceedings/lawsuits pertaining to title insurance, workers’ compensations insurance, and property and casualty insurance. Most recently, Mr. Lastella has focused on First Party Property defense, mastering all aspects of the claims handling process and resulting litigation. Mr. Lastella is a seasoned litigator who takes pride in providing high-quality legal services to his clients in a cost-effective manner.
